All days and shifts
Salary: $33.172 to $41.620 per hour
1. Registered with the Canadian Association of Cardio-Pulmonary Technologists (CACPT)
2. Previous experience in Pulmonary Function Testing required.
3. A Degree/Diploma/Certificate in health-related sciences (Respiratory Therapy, Nursing,
B.Sc in Human Physiology, Biology, Kinesiology or other related field) is preferred.
4. Sills to perform including and not limited to; Spirometry, Lung Volumes, Diffusion Capacity, Methacholine Challenge testing, Arterial Blood Gases, Exercise Testing Protocols and equipment calibration.
5. Excellent technical and clinical skills and verbal communication skills.
6. Current BLS.
7. Proven ability to interact effectively and efficiently with staff and patients.
8. Previous Experience with patient information databases (Meditech, Sunrise Clinical Manager, Care Stream) considered an asset.
9. Previous experience working with patients in a hospital environment preferred
10. Satisfactory attendance record.
