$38.683 to $44.415 per hour
4M/E Medicine – General Medicine, Cardiology, Respiratory
Monday-Friday – Days; occasional weekend shifts may be required
The successful candidate will provide excellent consultation, assessment, intervention and discharge planning for a general medicine/cardiology/respiratory patient population. Occasional weekend work may be required.
1. Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy required, Master's Degree preferred.
2. Registered in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required.
3. BLS/CPR required (or willingness to complete within probationary period).
4. Two years inpatient hospital experience in physiotherapy practice preferred.
5. Experience with assessment of cognition, mobility and safety with elderly and/or chronically ill.
6. Demonstrated experience working with the geriatric population and general medicine patients.
7. Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Demonstrated effectiveness in inter-professional practice skills.
9. Demonstrated critical thinking skills/problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
11. Satisfactory attendance record.
