Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Ontario women, with 1 in 8 women expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime. The majority of those cases will affect women between the ages of 50-74.
A mammogram can help detect cancer in its early stages. Yet, only 51% of women in our Toronto-West neighbourhoods had a mammogram in the past two years.
Screening is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. As part of our efforts to create exceptional experiences for our patients, we are pleased to announce our affiliation with the Ontario Breast Screening Program. This new designation will enable women aged 50-74, who are most at-risk for breast cancer, to book a mammogram without a physician referral.
Simply call us at 416-530-6010. Just book it!
Please note: if you previously had breast cancer, currently have breast implants or are experiencing any problems with your breasts, a physician referral is required.
